Dr. Sylvia Ramirez is the Medical and Scientific Director of Cutis Medical Laser Clinics in Singapore and has over 25 years’ experience in aesthetic medicine, chronic disease epidemiology, nephrology, and transplantation both in the United States and internationally.

After completing her training in Paediatric Nephrology at the Children’s Hospital in Boston, Harvard Medical School and obtaining a Masters in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health, Dr. Ramirez developed and implemented comprehensive programs for the prevention of kidney and related diseases. She has also served as Vice President of a Healthcare and Research Policy Think Tank in the United States, and was principal investigator for several key projects on improving quality of care for the US government. In this capacity, Dr. Ramirez has published numerous scientific research articles and has spoken as an expert in multiple international scientific conferences presenting on clinical studies in over 20 countries around the world. She has also conducted and led Technical Expert Panels to establish measures that define improvement in clinical care for chronic diseases.

Dr. Sylvia also completed a specialized Physician Training and Certification in Age Management Medicine conducted by the Foundation for Care Management (FCM), USA and has been certified in Age Management Medicine by the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (AMMERF), USA.

Dr. Sylvia further completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in the UK before starting her medical aesthetic clinic in Singapore in 2007. The combination of her training and her emphasis on quality evidence-based medicine led her to focus her on rigorous research-proven services, treatments and products in the field of aesthetic and age management medicine. The principles that she has learned from the Harvard Medical System as well as her own publications in international journals have guided Dr. Sylvia in her day-to-day practice of improving aesthetic outcomes in her patients.
